Classification of aluminum foil
1. Household foil/tableware foil material: 8011-0 state thickness: 0.009---0.08mm
2. Food flexible packaging foil material: 8011/1235/1060 thickness: 0.009---0.23mm
3. Air conditioning foil (hydrophilic foil), industrial foil Material: 8011/3003/1100 Thickness: 0.07---0.25mm
By thickness
Aluminum foil can be divided into thick foil, single zero foil and double zero foil according to the thickness difference.
Thick foil: a foil with a thickness of 0.1 to 0.2 mm.
Single zero foil: foil with a thickness of 0.01mm and less than 0.1mm/.
Double zero foil: The so-called double zero foil is a foil with two zeros after the decimal point when its thickness is measured in mm, usually aluminum foil with a thickness less than 0.01, that is, 0.005~0.009mm aluminum foil. When expressed in English, thick foil is called "heavy gauge foil'', single zero foil is called "medium gauge foil", and double zero foil is called "light gauge foil''. Foreign countries sometimes refer to aluminum foil with a thickness ≤40ltm as light gauge foil, while aluminum foil with a thickness >40btm are collectively referred to as heavy gauge foil.
By shape
Aluminum foil can be divided into rolled aluminum foil and sheet aluminum foil according to shape. Most of the aluminum foil deep-processing wool is supplied in roll form, and only a few handicraft packaging occasions use sheet aluminum foil.
Aluminum foil can be divided into hard foil, semi-hard foil and soft foil according to the state.
Hard foil: Aluminum foil that has not been softened (annealed) after rolling. Without degreasing, the surface is left with residue. Therefore, the hard foil must be degreased before printing, laminating, and coating. If it is used for forming, it can be used directly.
Semi-hard foil: Aluminum foil whose hardness (or strength) is between hard foil and soft foil, usually used for forming.
Soft foil: Aluminum foil that has been softened after rolling after being fully annealed. The material is soft and there is no residual oil on the surface. At present, most applications, such as packaging, compounding, electrical materials, etc., use flexible foil.
By surface condition
Aluminum foil can be divided into one-sided aluminum foil and two-sided aluminum foil according to the surface condition.
Single-sided aluminum foil: double-rolled aluminum foil, which is bright on one side after being rolled, and has a dark surface. Such aluminum foil is called one-sided aluminum foil. The thickness of the aluminum foil on one side is usually not more than o. 025mm.
Double-sided light aluminum foil: single-rolled aluminum foil, the two paintings are in contact with the roller, and the two sides of the aluminum foil are divided into mirror two-sided glossy aluminum foil and ordinary two-sided glossy aluminum foil due to the different surface roughness of the roller. The thickness of the aluminum foil on both sides is generally not less than 0.01mm.
Status
Aluminum foil can be divided into plain foil, embossed foil, composite foil, coated foil, colored aluminum foil and printed aluminum foil according to the added state.
Plain foil: Aluminum foil without any other processing after rolling, also known as plain foil.
Embossed foil: aluminum foil with various patterns pressed on the surface.
Composite foil: a composite aluminum foil formed by attaching aluminum foil to paper, plastic film, and cardboard.
Coated foil: Aluminum foil coated with various resins or lacquers on the surface.
Color aluminum foil: A single color aluminum foil is coated on the surface. Printed aluminum foil: aluminum foil that forms various patterns, patterns, characters or pictures on the surface by printing, can be one color, and up to 12 colors.
Soft aluminum foil can be further pressed into four zero foil for decoration.
